May card class

These are the cards we made during the May card class. Of course Ms. Joy came up with some wonderful cards again.

new cartridge

I bought the Robotz Cartridge and made some cuts with it. I don't know what I am going to do with them yet but probably make some cards with them.

All star bags

My oldest Grandson Micheal Jr. made the All-stars this year as a catcher so in his honor of making the team I made these for all the players. I used everyday paperdolls for the the players. I cut them at 4 inches. I put gatorade, and some candy in each bag. I made 12 of them.

cube die

Since I spent so much money on these sizzix dies I decided I BETTER use them. Of course I had to blow the dust off of them. I made these blocks and used the Old West cricut cart for the letters. I used creative memories star punch for the stars. I also made the firecrackers out of toilet paper rolls. I used a 2" circle to cover the top and bottom. Then I cut a 12 inch strip and snipped little slits into the strip. I rolled it up and poked a hole in the top and glued it in place.

match box die.

I have seen lots of these posted so I decided to try to make one myself. I made it and gave it to a co-worker at work. She loved it.

WOHOO I made the Cricut Chirp Newsletter!

I made this banner using the new Independance solutions cart and A child's year cart. I used CTMH paper. I was so excited when I found out I had made the Chirp newsletter. To me this is a great honor. Have you seen the awesome, creative ladies that post on the Cricut message board. Thanks Provocraft for picking me out of the 1000's of submissions made. WOHHOOOOO!

Sorry I have been bad

with my postings. I am going to be downloading lots of them right now. So I apologize to my followers for not being a better blogger. I really have been very busy but now in three more weeks I will have a 6 week vacation from my part-time weekend job. This means no more working 60 hour weeks for awhile but I sure will miss the extra cash. We try to take the month of August off because of the heat here in Texas and then we start up again in September. I work for a friend on the weekends doing a consession stand and we go to differant craft shows and festivals thoughout East Texas. Lots of fun and good cash but lots of work. We do 60 to 65 shows a year. We were only rained out twice last year. This year(2010) we have been rained out once and believe it or not snowed out once. So back to my postings and thanks for being a follower of my blog.

spinning star

I made this star using my cricut cut at 8 inches with the stand and salute cart. I then attached the smaller stars using jump rings. I am taking this to work to hang.
